The role As the Finance Assistant for our Managed estate, you will oversee the financial aspects of multiple hotels within our managed portfolio in line with the company's standard operating procedures. Your responsibilities will include overseeing revenue control, managing the sales ledger, ensuring payroll accuracy, managing the finance reporting function for your portfolio, and maintaining strict control over banking processes. This role will be based remotely with regular travel required to our UK properties. Please note that our training will be primarily held remotely. However, we'll also need you to join us at our Richmond Head Office for initial training. Key responsibilities: Preparation of Management Accounts for the Managed Estate Ensure timely revenue input, reconciliation, and balancing Verify and challenge credit card refunds and negative postings Review weekly financial reports and identify variances Conduct monthly credit meetings with the hotels Support with monthly Payroll for your portfolio Collaborate with Head office on necessary reports and reconciliations Liaise with accounts payable team for invoice accuracy Review balance sheets and conduct VAT checks Working with External Auditors and dealing with queries. You should have a proven track record of success in processing finance transactions and possess strong numeracy skills. Proficiency in IT, particularly in Advanced Excel, is essential for this role.
