Graduate PR Account Executive (6 months contract,Salary: Circa 23,400 per annum pro rata, Location:Brighton)
**Potential to grow to apermanent full-time position**
The successfulcandidate will be an exceptional writer, proficient in socialmedia, and have a deep interest in the media, communications, andcharity/social purpose sectors.
Here's what you'll bedoing:
* Assisting the director inimplementing integrated PR campaigns
* Draftingpress releases and crafting pitches for news, features, andlifestyle media
* Liaising with clients,journalists, associates, andsuppliers.
* Monitoring media coverage, creatingcoverage lists, and generating reports
* Creatingand maintaining media lists, staying updated on industry changes,including new roles and mediaplatforms
* Monitoring and scanning daily newsand journalist requests
* Managing and growingthe agency s social media channels, including creating engagingcontent, templates, blogs, andarticles
* Updating and maintaining the company swebsite
* Performing various administrativeduties
Aboutyou:
* A degree (preferably inpublic relations, communications, orjournalism)
* Some experience in a businesssetting (PR, communications, or relevant experience such asmanaging a student society is highlyvalued)
* Strong writing skills and fluentcommunication abilities
* Good organizationalskills, including email management andreporting
* Knowledge of copywriting andediting
* Understanding of social mediaplatforms, including X, LinkedIn, Instagram, andFacebook
* An interest in the charity and socialpurpose sector
* Basic design skills, withexperience in creating templates using Canva or similartools
* A willingness to learn and a genuineinterest in current affairs
* Proficiency in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Strong research andanalytical skills
* The ability to prioritiseworkloads and meet tight deadlines
* Basic budgetmanagement skills
