Day to Day Tasks for Panel Wirers:
1. Prepare wires for fitting into Control and Relay Panels, cutting and crimping.
2. Follow wiring schematics and label up the panel wires.
3. Wire Panels on production line.
4. Help fellow Panel Wirers by peer-to-peer checking prior to routine testing.
5. You will form an integral part of the Production Team at EPS (UK), working alongside other experienced MV switchboard wirers, fitters, and fabricators.
Minimum Skills for the Panel Wirer:
1. A minimum of 2 years in the Panel Wiring Industry.
2. A strong understanding of schematic drawings and G/A drawings and the ability to identify components.
3. Be able to use wire strippers and crimping tools.
4. Able to carry out wiring of control and relay panels to a high standard.
5. Must have a right to work permanently in the UK.
