HR Business Partner - 6 month FTC

Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a strategic role where you can drive real change? We are recruiting for an HR Business Partner on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking organisation committed to creating a positive and engaging workplace culture. This role is to cover a secondment.
The Role
As an HR Business Partner, you will be a key part of the People and Culture team, working directly with senior leaders to support business objectives and drive organisational success. You will take the lead in implementing HR strategies, managing business change initiatives, and providing expert HR guidance.
You will:
1. Partner with senior managers to support key people initiatives and ensure HR strategies align with business goals.
2. Act as an internal consultant, advising on best HR practices to drive cultural and organisational change.
3. Lead and manage change management initiatives, including restructures and job role design.
4. Provide expert guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
5. Deliver and evaluate HR projects that embed a strong people-focused culture.
6. Work collaboratively across the People and Culture team to ensure effective HR service delivery.
7. Develop and implement HR policies and employee engagement initiatives.
8. Provide expert HR advice and coaching to managers on employee relations and other HR matters.
9. Lead and develop HR Advisors to ensure a high standard of employee relations support.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Chartered MCIPD qualification or equivalent experience (or a willingness to work towards it).
2. A strong background in HR Business Partnering, ideally within a professional services environment.
3. Proven experience in leading organisational change and managing HR projects.
4. Expertise in employee relations, employment law, and best practice HR solutions.
5. A track record of working closely with senior managers to influence and implement people strategies.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and deliver practical HR solutions.
7. Experience in at least one HR specialism, such as workforce planning, EDI, L&D, organisational development, talent management, or wellbeing.
