A Care Assistant provides essential support to individuals who require help with daily activities due to age, illness, or disability. Working in a care home or domiciliary care setting, they ensure the well-being, comfort, and dignity of residents by offering compassionate personal care and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Support with mobility and transfers, using aids where necessary.
* Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Administer medications (if trained and authorized).
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance well-being.
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
* Encourage independence while ensuring safety and comfort.

Requirements & Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to train).
* Experience in care (preferred but not always required).
* Enhanced DBS check (mandatory for care settings).
* Manual handling training practical (In Person).
* Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
