Job summary – What to expect:
The Pricing Analyst will support commercial decision making by providing insights based on data analysis and modelling. Working closely with Customer Marketing, Commercial Finance and Director of Sales Operations, and reporting into the Senior Pricing Manager, is responsible for developing pricing reports and models, and supporting price strategy related initiatives at Region, Global and Market level.
About you:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of a pricing strategy and implementation guidance by providing accurate reporting and insightful analysis.
2. Enhance data quality and leverage it for the improvement of pricing reporting, modelling, analytics and insights to inform pricing & promotions investment decisions. For example, develop Promotions ROI tool.
3. Support Senior Pricing Manager monitor implementation of pricing & channel strategy guidance through ad hoc reporting and other initiatives.
4. Drive simplification, system optimization (. OV pricing model / architecture) and continuous improvement in general on pricing management process and practices.
5. Support and collaborate with the Global or EMEA Regional or local market teams on other adhoc initiatives as required / assigned. It may include working on market level initiatives, pricing projects or change management.
6. Apply data analytics tools to identify trends, segment performance to support the commercial organisation make data-driven pricing recommendations.
Experience & Education:
7. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
8. High attention to detail.
9. Good communication and presentation skills.
10. Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced with Microsoft PowerPoint.
11. Experience with COGNOS and Tableau.
12. Experience with tools such as R, SAS, SQL, Python or similar and with data visualization software desirable.
13. Experience in Hyperion, Power BI or similar analytic tools is preferred.
14. English – Fluent.
15. Ability to present sophisticated analysis in a clear and concise format.
16. Ability to work in a collaborative, pressurized, changing environment.
17. A minimum of 2 years of Business Analytics or a related field is required.
18. Experience in Pricing or Marketing would be an advantage.
