Application Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Previous experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years setting.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson preparation.
• Assisting children with their learning, particularly in early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
• Helping to organise and participate in fun activities such as arts, crafts, and outdoor play.
• Supporting children with EAL or additional needs to ensure they reach their full potential.
