Job Description
Key responsibilities will consist of:
* Handling customer requests in a professional and timely manner
* Accurate maintenance of Salesforce opportunities
* Processing quotations and orders within 24 hours
* Following up quotations in a prompt & automatic manner
* Clean order entry and handover to Supply Chain
* Efficient and accurate processing of order amendments
* Strong orderbook management to support on-time delivery, including date and block management
* Issuing regular order book updates to our key accounts
* Working alongside the Supply Chain team to ensure customers receive pro-active progress updates
* Improving customer relationships
* Tracking critical customer orders and order books with support from Supply Chain
* Working in partnership with other departments to deliver excellent customer service and determine solutions to delight our customers
* Ensuring customer complaints are dealt with promptly
* Supporting continuous development and improvement of processes
* Supporting the adoption of new processes, guiding and teaching your colleagues
* Supporting system-driven processes and global standardisation
* Improving the quality of our Customer Master Data with concurrent & prehistoric customers
* Proforma invoicing, billing plans & debt chasing/advisory duties
* Supporting in quotes & orders service
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will:
* Always be on the lookout for additional sales & general business opportunities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients and act as a trusted advisor and the main point of contact.
* Engage in conversations to understand potential clients' needs, and build rapport and trust.
* Provide relevant product information and insights that address potential clients' pain points.
* Respond quickly to customer price and invoice queries, following up every quote with accurate information.
* Initiate territory growth by conducting cold outreach to potential clients through emails, phone calls, and social media.
* Gather insights from BDMs and Area Sales Reps regarding customer expectations, challenges, and feedback.
* Collaborate with Sales Support to ensure orders are processed accurately and any customer issues are responded to quickly.
* Work quickly and with confidence.
* Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate IT skills and experience using ERP and CRM systems.
* Show accuracy and attention to producing high-quality work and completing tasks.
