Do you have a passion for data? Do you have a yearning to turn data into insights, and to make an impact in a healthcare setting through advanced analysis? Are you looking for a role where you will be learning new skills rapidly and delivering great results in a fast-paced environment? If so, we may have just the job you’re looking for!
At the heart of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s ambitious Digital Strategy is the provision of high-quality data to support intelligence-led decision making. Our data engineering/analytical roles are key to the delivery of this element of the strategy through the use of the latest data engineering and analytical techniques.
This post will be based within the Trust's Information Services team which encompasses Data Integration/Engineering and Analytics.
Using your highly developed data engineering and analytical skills, you will contribute to the implementation of systems, interfaces, data warehousing and reporting which will support our digital strategy and help enable data-driven business decisions across the trust.
We currently operate a hybrid office/local home-based working model.
We are based at Northumbria House, Cobalt Business Park. There are good transport links - buses from Newcastle stop directly outside our office building. Note, we may be moving offices to Seaton Delaval in the near future.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, covering one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country. Leading in innovation and quality – opening a state of the art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England.
Do you want to work in one of the best performing NHS organisations in England? Work in an organisation that supports its staff and focuses on staff experience as much as it does the experience of its patients? You can live and breathe in an area that has the cleanest air, cost effective living, great nightlife, some of the best schools with a wealth of history available on your doorstep. Sound too good to be true? Well it isn’t, this is what you get when you work for Northumbria Healthcare, this is the Northumbria Way! Please read ‘applicant guidance notes’ before submitting your application.
