About the role
We are looking for a Credit Manager to join our innovative and strategic Credit Risk team. Within the role you will maximise the credit terms across our customer accounts, and work with the Credit Analyst to managing and mitigate risks. This is a service driven role, aiding our sales team with the growth of the business on a local and international level.
As the Credit Manager, you will:
* Proactively Work with sales and our customers to maximise credit terms, ensuring needs and expectations are addressed
* Work with the Sales Director, be creative and explore new options to provide more extensive credit options
* Support and work with the AP/AR Manager to manage the credit control team, minimising overdue invoices and reducing the DSO.
* Work and build relationships with our customers CFO's and FD's to evaluate risks
* Develop a strong working relationship with our Commercial Director, advising on potential risk and escalate as needed.
* Provide Credit availability updates and credit exposure reports on to the senior leadership team
* Manage credit control resources and suppliers
* Gather all relevant information on customer to make credit decisions
* Manage the credit risk register.
* Liaise with credit insurance supply chain
* Resolving any queries both internally and externally
* Ensure all invoices are accurately issued and customer payments are processed
* Keep all customer call history up to date on NetSuite.
* Attend client site as and when needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Credit Manager will:
* FCICM Qualified or qualified by experience
* 5+ years Credit Management Experience
* Experience working in credit control would be advantageous
* Experience working in an IT distribution or IT Reseller environment and have a good knowledge of IT Reseller customers, would be preferable.
* Be service driven with a can do attitude and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships both internally and externally
* Be analytical and detail orientated with strong research skills
* Be a supportive team player who is organised and thrives under pressure
* Be a confident and approachable person who is proactive and solution driven
