As a Chef Commis, you will play an integral role in supporting our culinary team and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen
Responsibilities
* Prepare all mise-en-place and dishes with the kitchen team
* Ensure compliance with inhouse HACCP and food hygiene, health, and safety systems to ensure compliance
* Ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are properly stocked and stored
* Assisting with the plating and presentation of dishes
* Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality meals to our customers

* Completing duties with an attitude of always striving to exceed standards
Requirements and skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment
* A passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work as part of a team and take directions from senior chefs
* Knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques a bonus
* Disciplined and keen to learn
* Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
* Excellent time management abilities
