Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) Ltd design and manufacture advanced electronics products and systems. The company operates internationally in the communications, defence, security and government services market, and is established as a world-leader in digital signal and video processing on embedded systems.
The company is building upon the commercial success achieved to date, and now needs to appoint an enthusiastic individual to support the management of a rapidly growing inventory.
Responsibilities & Tasks
* Carry out transactional purchase requests for non-production-based items
* Coordinate and communicate delivery requests with other functions and internal stakeholders
* Support the purchasing team with information on incoming deliveries and update information on open orders
* Liaise with the Production and Logistics function on delivery of non-production purchase deliveries
* Contribute to the continual development of internal processes to improve productivity, reduce risk, and generate value within the organisation
* Support internal auditing activities to ensure that processes are being followed and/or to identify opportunities for improvement
* Support with other duties within the Purchasing function as required
Requirements
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools - Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders via written and verbal means
Part Time: 25 hrs per week
Salary dependent on experience/qualifications
