What is the objective of this role and what does it consist of?
Do you have experience in Engineering Software Development specifically with the ESATAN-TMS Thermal modelling Suite? ITP Aero is looking for a Graduate ESATAN-TMS Development Engineer to join our team in Whetstone, Leicestershire. The successful candidate will join our software development team and will work on the development of our ESATAN-TMS product with experienced engineers. What profile are we looking for?
* Education: BSc or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent (essential)
* Experience required: 1+ years of experience developing the ESATAN, ESARAD and ESATAN-TMS toolsets (essential)
* Knowledge in:
- Developing in C++ (essential)
- Developing in Java, C# or similar (essential)
- Software version control – Git etc (essential)
- Software engineering processes (essential)
Language: English (essential)
* Soft Skills:
- Technical problem-solving skills (essential)
- Written and verbal communication/presentation skills (essential)
- Enthusiastic, can-do approach (desirable)
What training will you receive to be able to carry out the role?
You will work alongside a strategic multidisciplinary team for the company, applying your knowledge in our tool ESATAN-TMS and joining our team of engineers, mathematicians, physicists, and computing experts to provide the broadest technical base for the development of professional scientific software.

Who will I work with?
You will work at ITP Aero under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components, ranking among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry. You will report to the Software Development Manager and work closely with the development team on the maintenance of the product and the implementation of new functionality.
What are the working hours?
37 hours per week working 5 days per week with flexibility (core hours 09:00-16:00)
