Malwarebytes is looking for... A dynamic Sales Engineer located in Cork, Ireland, that will play a pivotal role in driving sales of endpoint security solutions from a technical perspective within our organization. This individual will collaborate closely with the sales team to identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities, while providing technical expertise and support to customers throughout the sales cycle. The individual will be responsible for being the technical resource and bridging the "technical" gap for our sales team with new/existing clients. As a subject matter expert in endpoint security, you’ll provide consultancy for pre-sales solutions in EMEA and APAC.
What you’ll do:
1. Technical Expertise:
1. Develop a deep understanding of our endpoint security product suite and industry trends.
2. Provide technical demonstrations, presentations, and product evaluations to prospective customers.
3. Address technical questions and concerns raised by customers and partners.
4. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and identify product enhancements.
2. Sales Support:
1. Work closely with sales representatives to identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities in EMEA and APAC.
2. Conduct technical needs assessments and propose appropriate solutions.
3. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
4. Delivery and creation of on-demand webinars in partnership with Marketing and partners.
5. Update and deliver technical training to Inside Sales organization as per assigned business units.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
2. Provide post-sales technical support and assistance as needed.
3. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering guidance on security best practices and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
1. 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role within the cybersecurity industry.
2. Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, technologies, and best practices.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
4. Fluent in English and an additional language (German/Spanish).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Experience with endpoint security solutions from leading vendors (e.g., CrowdStrike, Symantec, McAfee).
Desired Skills
1. Experience with cloud-based security solutions.
2. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
3. Familiarity with threat intelligence and incident response processes.
4. Experience with salesforce.com or other CRM systems.
5. Certifications in endpoint security or related fields (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional Notes
1. This position may require travel to customer sites and events.
2. The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Engineering Manager.
