Planning and Logistics Specialist
As part of the Planning & Logistics team, you will build strong relationships with transport partners, introduce and roll out lane processes, and plan transportation for maximum efficiency. You will monitor shipments, resolve incidents, and ensure compliance within our regulatory frameworks. Your role includes identifying consolidation opportunities, contributing to planning strategies for the easyJet network, and working collaboratively across the Supply Chain team. Working alongside our customs team, you will support urgent shipment requests, inform stakeholders of material changes, and act as a subject matter expert for Dangerous Goods. Additionally, you will assist in preparing management reports, support corrective actions, administer the SafetyNet system, and ensure timely invoice approvals and partner payments.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience within freight forwarding and logistics and have a deep understanding of road and airfreight processes and operations. A good knowledge of customs requirements and the way this impacts non-EU transportation is required. While not mandatory, experience in aviation, airline, or aerospace logistics is advantageous. You will be able to work in a calm and professional manner even when the most urgent AOG needs to be recovered. Other key skills include strong interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal).

Location & Hours of Work:
This full-time role will be based in Capability Green 800, Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working.
