Outreach Worker (Part-Time) - Manchester City Council
Hourly rate: PAYE £14.72 / Umbrella tbc
Working job-share hours end of the week: Wednesday afternoon, Thursdays, and Fridays all day.
The worker will be part of a Children's Centre Team across a neighbourhood of 4 children's centres, providing an efficient and welcoming service to all users within the localities of Burnage, Old Moat, Fallowfield, and Whalley Range.
We are looking for an Outreach Worker who:
* Has early years experience and knowledge of the EYFS.
* Has worked with families and children under 5 and can work as part of a multi-agency team.
* Is able to work at front line level, at a high quality, and when necessary, assertively, using a whole family approach.
* Can identify packages of support to improve outcomes and support children to achieve their milestones.
* Has the ability to maintain effective systems to manage and retrieve information and can use a computer to complete tracking of families and outcomes.
* Can support families with a range of issues such as housing, child protection, and transitioning to training, volunteering, or work.
* Has excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
This role is office-based, and candidates will not be required to drive as part of the role.
