Job Title: Utility Surveyor
Location: Greater London and Surround Areas
Salary Package: £36,000 - £45,000 (DOE), Company Van, Specialist Equipment, Fuel Card, Perks
Company Overview:
Leggwork is partnering with a leading specialist in Land and Utility surveys, renowned for its expertise and ongoing work within the Civil Engineering, Highways, and Water & Utilities sectors. As part of their growth strategy and upcoming major projects, the company is looking to expand its team of Surveyors with expertise in Utility surveys, including PAS128. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting Utility & PAS128 surveys in accordance with client specifications, company policies and procedures, and relevant health and safety guidelines.
2. Ensuring all deliverables meet the required standards, specifications, and deadlines.
3. Operating specialist equipment, such as the Trimble Total Station and Cat and Genny to accurately gather survey data.
4. Reporting on survey findings, including any issues or deviations from expected results.
5. Taking accountability for the integrity of the surveying process and the accuracy of the deliverables.
6. Following detailed instructions and working independently to manage tasks efficiently and effectively.
7. Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a high standard of work at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
1. Proven experience in conducting Utility and PAS128 surveys.
2. Proficiency in using survey equipment, such as the Trimble Total Station, Cat and Genny and other relevant tools.
3. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing tasks to meet deadlines.
5. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the Civil Engineering industry.
6. Valid driving licence (company van will be provided).
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Relevant surveyor qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, or degree in Surveying or a similar discipline).
2. Experience in the Civil Engineering, Construction, Highways, or Water & Utilities sectors.
