Role: IT Manager
Location: Brighton (Minimum 1 day onsite per week)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Manager to lead and enhance the technical customer service support experience within a dynamic and creative environment.
Key Responsibilities for IT Manager:
1. Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing operations support team, providing guidance and mentorship to drive success.
2. Manage the technology helpdesk system, ensuring tickets are resolved efficiently and in line with SLAs.
3. Act as an escalation point for Regional Technology Supervisors, supporting them in their supervisory responsibilities.
4. Collaborate with Technology Operations Managers to share knowledge and address system-related issues.
5. Work closely with 3rd-party vendors to resolve infrastructure issues within agreed SLAs.
6. Develop and implement best practice processes for ticket resolution and management.
7. Provide detailed reports to senior management, highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement.
8. Ensure infrastructure changes are managed to a high standard in coordination with Technology Operations and Development teams.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience managing a helpdesk in a fast-paced, multi-site, international environment.
2. Experience leading and motivating IT support teams.
3. Skilled in managing third-party vendor relationships.
4. Hands-on experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
5. Expertise in incident management and service desk best practices.
6. Solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Technologies, cyber security best practices, and AV suite management.
7. Experience with Microsoft server management, Mac OS, and TCP/IP networking.
8. Flexibility to attend any campus at short notice and work evenings or weekends when required.
Desirable:
1. ITIL certification and advanced knowledge of ITIL best practices.
2. Experience within the education sector, ideally in the creative arts.
3. Relevant technology qualifications and certifications.
