In our BeaumontHouse Nursery in Twickenham on excellent transport links we areseeking an experienced Nursery Chef who is a skilled Chef andwanting to join our team and creating delicious culinaryexperiences for our children. The ideal candidate will have apassion for food preparation a good awareness of nutrition andhealthy eating and ensuring high standards of food safety andquality. The role is based on a 38 hr working week Monday to Fridaywith salary c 27k plus loads of great benefits.
BeaumontHouse Nursery is based in Twickenham High Street part of CCNurseries Group a 92 place lovely nursery that has been designed tospark curiosity and imagination and each room is filled withhandpicked resources to encourage selfdirected play and discoverytogether with the love for the outdoors where the children not onlyhave access to outdoor space at the rear of the nursery to enjoybut regularly take trips to local green spots to enjoy fun in thefresh air! Requirements
Ideallyyou willhave
Previousexperience in a similar role;
Food & Hygiene LevelCertificate Level 3 ( or at least a level2)
Proven experience as aChef
Cooking and preparing mealsfor 70 children
Strong knowledgeof kitchen operations food production and culinarytechniques
Excellent leadershipskills with the ability to motivate and inspire ateam
Proficient in menu planningrecipe development and costcontrol
Knowledge of food safetyregulations and bestpractices
Ability to work in afastpaced environment while maintaining attention todetail
Excellent communicationskills with the ability to collaborate with staff at all levelseffectively
