As an Engineering Test Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace in Edinburgh, UK, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team and ensuring the smooth operation of our aerospace technologies. You will be responsible for performing complex technical tasks, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in the development, testing, and support of electronic and RF products. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our aerospace operations.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering processes, contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace technologies, and support the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Engineering Test Technician Responsibilities
1. Perform complex technical tasks in support of engineering projects
2. Troubleshoot, test, and debug electronic and RF products
3. Assist in the development and testing of new products
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
5. Maintain accurate documentation and records of engineering activities
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or related field OR hold relevant experience as an Engineering Technician or similar role in the aerospace industry
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of aerospace systems and equipment
3. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
