Role Description: As Head of Claims Operations you will lead the end to end claims activity within AZS Pet and have responsibility for the claims contact centre, claims assessment operations based in UK and India, and technical claims disciplines. Key Accountabilities: Ensure day-to-day delivery of AZS Pet claims service and proposition Direct line management of Claims Contact Centre Manager, Claims Operations Manager, and indirect leadership of offshore operation, in India. Maintain performance of key metrics in line with agreed budget, taking remedial action where necessary and informing the Head of Operations of any material variances Provide strong leadership that is consistent with AZH values. Take responsibility for, coach, appraise and give direction to the claims leadership team. Formulate, communicate, and agree the strategic direction for the AZS Pet claims department within the overall Specialty business plan Provide reporting on claims performance to the AZS Pet Leadership team as required.
