Head of Event Sales, London, A GBP 45k + Uncapped Commission
We are excited to be working with a high:end event catering company who deliver events in various central London locations. They are looking for a Head of Event Sales to oversee the sales and planning team, as well being hands on looking after VIP or complex clients and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the sales strategy to achieve targets
* Maintaining, building and sustaining relationships with key accounts, venues and suppliers
* Managing and developing the team
* Attend tastings, venue meetings and site visits
* Ensure communication is maintained to all departments throughout the planning process
* Managing client budget and ensure all jobs are quoted correctly
* Identify new revenue opportunities across the business
* Attend networking events and continue to grow network of industry contacts
Skills and Experience:
* Excellent London Venue knowledge
* Event management experience, ideally within a high:end caterer
* Excellent organisational skills
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets
* Pro:active, with lots of initiative and energy
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Smart, presentable and highly professional
