What you'll be doing
* Support team with creation of Best Practice/Case Studies.
* Support team with preparation and submission of consents and permits.
* Support on site by attending training and supporting with evidence gathering for monitor visits (where applicable).
* Understand and support completion of BMS documentation.
* Support regular site inspections and associated reporting.
* Undertake environmental monitoring and testing.
* Support team with Sustainability Portal reporting and evidence requirements.
* Supporting the team with carbon reporting.
* Delivering operative environmental training.
* Review Sustainability Portal reporting and evidence requirements to identify improvement areas.
Who we're looking for
* Full driving license and flexibility to travel.
* Professional Membership level of a relevant professional body (IEMA/CIEEM/CIWEM) or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and competence.
* Good knowledge of environment management with the relevant experience.
* Experience of working in a construction environment.
* Practical experience and sound knowledge of environmental statutory requirements, including environmental legislation, ecology mitigation, environmental licensing and consent applications and regulation.
* Understanding of the benefits of working collaboratively to obtain the best outcome.
* Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
* Determination to see tasks through to completion, with excellent planning and organisation skills.
* Interpreting and managing data via databases, consistent record keeping and writing detailed reports.
* Be required to visit worksites and offices across the South West and attend occasional ES meetings across the UK.
* Literate in MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook.
