About the Team and Project:
Our Education, Early Years, and Childhood Studies programmes are based in the School of Education at the Brooks Building on our Manchester campus. The school is home to a diverse team of staff specialising in Early Years and Childhood, Educational Psychology, Education, and Initial Teacher Education, alongside a range of Postgraduate programmes.
The School of Education at Manchester Met has a strong national and international reputation for excellence in both teaching and research. In the 2021 REF, the school ranked 9th for research power in Education, and it is listed among the top 150 institutions globally in the QS World Rankings. Our staff members are widely published and highly regarded in their fields.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to support students on the BA Education and BA Early Years and Childhood Studies programmes. The role involves working closely with colleagues to deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials, supporting student progression, and ensuring positive graduate outcomes. The successful candidate will also contribute to the smooth delivery of the programmes and may take on key leadership responsibilities, such as unit leadership or recruitment activities.
Additionally, the role includes active participation in the education, practice, and citizenship culture of the school, with opportunities to develop connections within the faculty and wider academic community.
