We're looking for a talented Print Operators to work for our client. They want to recruit someone with demonstrable background of previous experience in the field. If that's you then you could be exactly what they're looking for, even if you've got limited work experience. The Role: As the Print Operator you'll report to the manager and will be primarily responsible for work in a team and work well under pressure and in new environments on a daily basis. Shift pattern is Monday to Friday. There are 2 shifts available. Early shift: 7 am to 3pm and late shift: 1:30pm to 9:30pm. In the job you'll be tasked with the following: Pre Press : Read and understand the job schedule Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job Bag) Plate issue and checking Print cylinder set-up Plate mounting Ink mixing Form and counter selection Board allocation Plate cleaning and return to store Understand and complete all Q.C. documentation Print: Load anilox Load ink font Load board Load and set print cylinder Set up auto register Set up cutting form Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job bag) Use of Densitometer Selection of anilox and colour strength Understand and complete Pass Sheet / QMC / all Q.C. documentation The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Pre-Press& Print Operator role will have relevant background of previous experience in the field. You'll also need experience of the ability to work calmly under pressure as well as good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken. In addition, you'll need the following: - An excellent communication, team work and customer service skills - An experience minimum of 1 year's ( desirable) - A flexible attitude and a team player - Understand and follow the CAPA / Improvement Process, when appropriate - Understand and follow the Quality Process Flow Charts, including CCP's The ideal person for the role will be the following: - Punctual, Keen, Enthusiastic - Able to work as part of a team - Effective organisational skills - Maintain output according to the schedule - Assist the Pre-press & Print Manager with training of new personnel - Maintain and clean print machine - Weekly factory cleaning, to the schedule Does that sound like you?
