Here at Mole Valley Farmers, we have an exciting opportunity for an Merchandise Planning Assistant to join our team. The main objective of this role is to assist the Merchandise planner to manage a Product Category or group of Categories with the Product Manager and team within Procurement, ensuring delivery of sales margin and stock KPIs. You will be responsible for the proactive ordering, management, and control of the stock levels of designated business categories.
What you will be doing as a Merchandise Planning Assistant…
* Day to day Administration tasks
* Attending and participating in Category meetings, assisting the Merchandise planner on updating the business with sales performance, promotions, campaigns, stock levels and stock availability
* To run reports as required
* Working with the Space planning team to assist producing planograms and implement into stores
* Assisting the Merchandise Planner with relevant analysis to review and agree the product ranging with the Product Manager within store
* Assist the Merchandise Planner in producing sales and stock forecasts for promotions and campaigns
* Working closely with Marketing and Promotion Coordinator to ensure product availability for leaflets and marketing publications
