Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Whittlesey Block team in the position of Despatch & Admin Clerk on a Fixed Term Contract for Maternity Cover.
The role holder will provide effective administrative support to the plant management team while ensuring that the support provided is effective and efficient.
Your duties would include but are not limited to the following:
1. Delivery tickets to be issued.
2. To raise purchase orders, enter and receipt onto system.
3. GRN accurately Material delivery tickets daily onto JDE & Site file.
4. File all Delivery notes & Purchase orders.
5. To answer incoming calls politely and transfer to appropriate person.
6. Greet and deal with visitors politely (Including lorry drivers).
7. Liaise with drivers, Sales and Transport.
8. Liaise with purchasing, accounts & brought ledger departments at Northampton.
9. Dealing with collections, deliveries, returns and discrepancies.
10. Ensure all visitors and contractors sign in and out.
11. Daily completion of the Despatch Log.
12. Administration support for Office Manager, Production and Maintenance.
13. Maintaining a robust system for checking and storage of despatch tickets and purchase orders.
14. Liaising with suppliers in relation to orders, delivery dates and invoice queries.
15. Purchase order input onto purchasing system.
16. Complete compliance tasks (Load checks, weight checks etc.).
17. Microsoft Windows files and folders management.
18. Any other clerical or administrative tasks as required.
19. Work with other personnel from other departments or offices to resolve any problems that may arise with respect to the administration of the area’s sites.
20. Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion as required by the position.
About You:
* Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams.
* GCSE’s in English & Maths or equivalent.
