Job Description:
The Accounts Assistant is responsible for efficient and effective Administrative support to the Finance Team. Key responsibilities and tasks include:
1. Accurate and timely update and maintenance of the EWS Accounts system.
2. Providing updates to property managers as requested.
3. Maintaining departmental control sheets.
4. Assisting with set-up of new business sites to the property management system.
5. Preparation of service charge budget templates and running demands.
6. Assisting with continuing development of internal control and reporting systems.
7. Assisting Client Accountant with year-end activities such as distribution of Year End Service charge accounts and set-up of new business sites to the property management system.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates for this position should have the following skills and qualifications:
1. Ideally possess a relevant Accountancy qualification or working towards (AAT/CIMA/QBE).
2. Excellent administration and organisation skills.
3. Exceptional organisation skills.
4. Strong IT (Excel), numeracy and literacy skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication.
6. Service Charge Accounting experience.
