This role may involve a combination of office/home working. The successful applicants will need to be able to deliver or assist in the delivery of a range of administrative tasks which will include the use of spreadsheets, the mail merging of documents, the inputting and updating of information on a Case Management system, diary management, arranging meetings, note-taking and the booking of training for staff. This role is very varied but full support and training will be given. Whilst the location/work base for this role will be specified, our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process. This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies. This position will be subject to a enhanced criminal record disclosure check. Working Pattern: Full and part-time hours available What you’ll need to succeed: Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent, including English and Maths and have excellent communication and keyboard skills. Experience of working in an office environment would be an advantage. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise appropriately with all levels of staff, service users and other agencies. A professional approach applying discretion and diplomacy is essential.
