The Role
As an Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering high-quality audit services. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and maintaining strong relationships.
2. Overseeing the timely and accurate completion of audit assignments, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
3. Planning and efficiently allocating work to your team, monitoring progress against internal budgets.
4. Conducting regular reviews of work to uphold compliance standards and mentor junior team members.
5. Interacting with clients to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the audit process.
6. Assisting Partners with the analysis of work in progress and contributing to new business opportunities.
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:
1. A minimum of 6 years' accountancy practice experience, specialising in Audit and/or Accounts.
2. ACA or ACCA qualification.
3. Proficiency in IT, including Excel and audit/accounts software such as CCH Accounts Production and CCH Audit Automation.
4. A commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and maintaining high professional standards.
5. Strong organisational skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients.
