The Role : This Senior Management Accountant role is a newly created position, in line with the consistent scaling of the business, and will report into an established finance team consisting of an FC and FD in which to learn and develop under. The successful candidate will work across the finance function, to ensure the management and statutory accounts are generated in a complete, timely, and accurate manner. There will also be a focus on the business insights team, to ensure data is accurate and relevant to decision-making. This will sit alongside a requirement to drive continuous process improvement throughout the finance function. Responsibilities: Oversee preparation of management accounts, year-end accounts, and tax returns Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met and develop processes to streamline and improve financial reporting timelines Preparation and distribution of Gross Profit/Revenue reports Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts and identification and rectification of underlying balances Lead the annual statutory audit process with our external auditors Preparation of weekly trading forecasts Preparation of weekly trading forecasts Generation of Profit and Loss accounts ensuring GP and costs are allocated correctly Assist finance business partners with budget preparation and forecasts Reviewing controls and processes, making improvements where necessary Supervise and mentor 1 direct report, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and professional growth What we need to see (essential): Line management experience ACCA / ACA / CIMA Qualified or Finalist What we need to see (bonus) : Background in both practice and industry Salary : up to £65k Location : London (3 days office) If this role is of interest, please apply online or email me at matt.horsfallharmonicfinance.com.
