About the Role As cook it will be your responsibility to plan, order supplies, prepare and present high quality food and hospitality for our residents. Working to the highest of standards, ensuring dietary requirements of all the residents are met. We provide a mixture of modified diets and cater for all dietary requirements. Choice will always be provided with thought given to individual and cultural preferences. About You The ideal candidate will have: Prior experience working in the Catering sector Ability to prepare and cook high quality, nutritious meals for up to 45 residents Knowledge of stock control, menu planning and ordering Ability to maintain high levels of hygiene in our kitchen areas in accordance with EHO standards A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
