Job Description: F5 Engineer ( Senior & Mid-Level) HSBC Network Traffic Management Transformation Role Overview: HSBC is undertaking a major 3-year program to revamp its network traffic management and enhance its F5 Local Traffic Manager (LTM) capabilities.

As part of this initiative, we are seeking 3 Senior Engineers to join our F5 specialist team for an initial 12-month contract.
The role will focus on supporting the design, development, and automation of workflows, contributing to the successful delivery of HSBCs F5 LTM transformation program.
Key Responsibilities: Automation & Workflow Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of automation workflows and pipelines to improve operational efficiency.
Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for F5 automation, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Documentation & Reporting: Create high-quality technical and functional documentation, including clear and concise JIRA tasks to support the teams progress.
Operational Support: Contribute to the maintenance of the F5 environment, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users while optimizing network traffic management.
Process Evolution: Collaborate in the evolution and refinement of existing processes to drive continuous improvement and increase operational efficiency.
Skills & Experience Required: Strong hands-on experience with F5 LTM and related products.
Expertise in automation scripting and pipeline development (e.g., Ansible, Python).
Solid experience in network traffic management and load balancing technologies.
Strong understanding of network protocols, IP routing, and DNS .
Experience with JIRA for task management and documentation.
Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and reports.
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a dynamic environment.
Previous experience in the financial/banking industry Desired Qualifications: Previous experience with large-scale F5 LTM transformations or similar programs.
Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified, CCNP, or similar).
