Company Overview:
Our client is a leading fire and security equipment manufacturer, with a reputation for staff retention and a second-to-none training and progression plan for each and every employee. Due to continued customer growth, they are looking for a Technical Support Engineer. This role is ideal for fire and security engineers who are looking to come off the tools and apply their knowledge to a new role.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Assist customers with their queries over the phone or via email
2. Problem solve technical issues with fire and security products
3. Occasionally attend customer sites to resolve issues
4. Train staff and customers on products
5. Deliver technical training courses on-site in Luton or virtually
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate is a Fire & Security Engineer who is now looking to apply their skills, knowledge, and experience to a customer/training role.
1. Experience installing, servicing, and repairing fire & security equipment
2. Experience dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner
3. Experience offering support with technical issues
4. Experience in training others on fire & security products
