As we develop our team to support new products coming to market, we are looking for a technical lead to support our growing home elevator product range across our European Accessibility business.
Working closely with other teams, the Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring that our colleagues and partners are well supported to avoid or resolve any technical issues with Savaria group products and services. Support is provided predominantly to commercial partners, but also to relevant stakeholders in the wider organisation, including Commercial and installation and support teams.
Partnering with the European Head of Technical Support, the technical lead will implement European and Global strategies into local delivery plans, supporting partners and colleagues to be well educated in products and services and confident in providing installation, maintenance and breakdown services to our customers.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring stakeholders are competent to deliver training on our products (install, service, repair)
* Providing high quality training to ensure an excellent experience for end users at every stage of their journey with Savaria
* Developing and maintaining high standard training tools and materials
* Maintaining contemporaneous knowledge and practical understanding of Savaria Group products through regular hands-on activity (installation, maintenance etc.) and regular time spent at Group manufacturing and assembly sites across Europe
* Ensuring Technical Support teams provide market leading standards of service, and fix identified issues at the root cause, in partnership with other business functions
* Supporting effective KPI reporting for the purpose of performance management and continuous improvement
* Managing constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure feedback from partners is effectively used to drive reliability improvements and continuous improvement
* Developing Technical Support service revenue stream, in line with the tiered partner model

* Good commercial awareness, with an eye on the impact of activity on Company performance
Regular international travel is an essential function of this role
Fluency in a European language in addition to English would be an advantage
