This multi award-winning B Corp digital consultancy are looking for a Full-Stack Developer, specialising in Ruby on Rails to work on some amazing projects. Working with a mix of internationally renowned clients and high-flying local startups, youll be able to work with freedom and flexibility to create some outstanding applications.
What skills youll be needing
Good experience building web applications in Ruby on Rails.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Convert designs into interactive user experiences and create new screens by following a style guide.
Good depth of knowledge across HTTP, SSL, DNS, load balancers and web servers, through to how browsers fetch and render pages, asset caching and the DOM.
Have a strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Be quick to grasp concepts They work with an eclectic mix of startups and established businesses from a variety of backgrounds and industries.
What youll be doing
This is a full-stack role, so youll also have a confident grasp of web essentials (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Youll be expected to both support existing projects and develop brand new web applications alongside their 7 person Dev team, all specialising in Ruby. As well as building back-end systems youll be collaborating with their design and UX teams, working with front-end code to deliver stunning websites with detailed interactivity.
Youll be flexible to switch between projects and be able to independently manage your time and to do list, delivering quality work to deadlines.
