General Role Description Supporting the General Manager (GM) and Business Development Specialist (BDS) with all commercial aspects of renewable energy (Battery Energy Storage Systems and others) development projects initially in UK and EU. Role Accountabilities Commercial Interact with external legal counsel during preparation of contract terms etc. Assist the GM and BDS in contract negotiations. Negotiate project financing with potential investors and financial institutions. Evaluate commercial proposals provided by investors, renewable energy project developer, or project broker. Preparing and evaluating project cash flow including the project IRR. Preparing and evaluating terms sheet proposed by investors. Prepare a forecasted project P&L based on the revenue curve. Evaluate and validate the rights of Ready to Bild (RtB) BESS project to be planned to acquire from project broker, project developer (Owner of project rights) and others. Business Development Building strong relationships with financial institutions and investors. Assist the GM and BDS to develop sales/marketing materials related to project financing. Preparation of commercial documentation for potential equity partners. Project Management Coordinate with all stakeholders the financial, legal and commercial due diligence to being a project to financial close. Assist the Project Manager to ensure client contractual commitments are met. General Employee Accountabilities Bring full effort to complete tasks assigned by manager. Give manager best advice. Minimum 3 years of experience in financial and project feasibility analysis in the renewable energy business field. Demonstrated experience of development of commercial contracts in the renewable energy business field. Demonstrated experience in dealing and negotiating with financial institutions (bank, investors). Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts. Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills. Demonstrated experience of business feasibility study based on Internal rate of return (IRR), or other methodology. Knowledge of methodology of project finance. Knowledge of the project development cycle in the renewal energy business field. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and an ERP. Availability to travel in the UK and EU regions. Preferred Qualifications Master s degree in business administration (MBA) or finance.
