If you are wanting to join a dedicated and passionate team of support workers to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children, then this role is perfect for you We are actively seeking experienced support workers looking for weekend work to assist the children in our care. This would be a 0-hour contract with flexible hours however full weekend availability would be desired for this role. The right candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of our young people by managing challenging behaviours whilst supporting and promoting independence in a positive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored care and support to children and young people with diverse needs. Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families. Manage and address challenging behaviours with patience and effective strategies. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes. Empower clients to enhance and maintain their independence whenever possible. Follow care plans carefully and actively contribute to their regular review and adjustments. Transport young people to appointments and various activities as required. Complete daily logs, incident reports, and maintain all necessary paperwork accurately. What We're Looking For: Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent). Minimum 6-12 months of paid experience in a similar role within the UK is required. Experience in managing challenging behaviours is highly desirable. A compassionate, patient, and caring nature with a genuine passion for supporting others. Strong communication skills and the ability to foster trust and rapport with clients. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team. A proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent problem-solving skills. A full UK Driver's License is preferred. Enhanced DBS check (including child and adult checks) is required. Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights. INDGA
