Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Advanced Scaffolder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder qualification and have extensive experience in erecting, adapting, and dismantling complex scaffolding structures safely and efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work on a variety of challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Erect, modify, and dismantle advanced scaffolding structures in compliance with TG20:21, SG4:22, and industry best practices.
* Lead scaffolding teams on-site, ensuring efficiency and high safety standards.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments, safety inspections, and compliance checks on scaffolding structures.
* Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure precise scaffolding installation.
* Work closely with site managers, contractors, and other trades to coordinate scaffolding requirements.
* Mentor and train junior scaffolders, including Part 1 and Part 2 trainees.
* Identify and report any defects, ensuring timely resolutions to maintain site safety.
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including working at height and manual handling procedures.
Requirements:
* CISRS Advanced Scaffolder (Gold Card) qualification.
* Valid CSCS card.
* Proven experience in advanced scaffolding, including complex structures and bespoke designs.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide a team.
* Excellent knowledge of scaffolding regulations, health and safety protocols, and compliance standards.
* Physically fit and comfortable working at height in all weather conditions.
* Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Additional safety certifications (e.g., Manual Handling, Working at Heights, First Aid).
* Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
