Transport Administrator
Location: Tingley, Leeds.
Salary: £12.48ph
Job Description: Rapier Employment are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our client as a Transport Administrator on the mid shift. This position offers a great opportunity to work with one the UK’s leading logistics provider, with an average salary of £24,336 per annum.
Responsibilities:
1. Communication: Maintain effective communication with customer services via email and provide operational updates to the Warehouse and transport teams.
2. Route Management: Brief and debrief drivers on routes, ensuring all paperwork and driver equipment are correct.
3. Monitoring: Utilise vehicle tracking systems to monitor deliveries, ensuring they are completed on time.
4. Reporting: Complete shift performance reports and vehicle defect notes, including breakdown call outs where applicable.
Shift Details:
1. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
2. Shift Time: 10:30 – 18:30
Requirements:
1. Experience: Previous experience in transport coordination or a related field is preferred.
2. Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
5. Flexibility: Willingness to work within a couple of hours either side of start and finish times during peak periods.
