We are based across a few locations, but operate as one team, and work together to create a positive, productive and highly efficient finance department within News UK. This role is based in the Corporate Reporting Team in Peterborough reporting to Senior Finance Manager Sox & Compliance. Role Objectives Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Project - Support the Snr Finance Manager in the project management of News UK SOX process - Liaising with Corporate Audit and News Corporation's compliance team. - Completion of annual SOX control testing and taking a lead on new requirements to test controls - Support the Snr Finance Manager in managing relationship with EY SOX audit team - Support function to the Tech team throughout the process - You will also support more junior members of the team through training and mentoring during the process Other responsibilities - Key contact of audit processes both in the UK and ROI. - Support Snr Finance manager with ad hoc tasks for the wider finance function - Be a key part of the Finance Systems project to ensure the future system has a strong control function and is fit for purpose for reporting requirements.
