About the role
Youll be managing administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently. Being responsible for all event enquiries from start to finish, ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery with a focus on converting all incoming enquiries to contracted business, handling payments and liaising with the client to plan and finalise the details of their event to be issued as function sheets to the operational team. Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team of event coordinators.
About you
You will have previous sales experience in a large hotel/ conference venue and experience of systems such as Salesforce, DEPHI and Opera, with a passion for sales and strong desire to succeed. You are passionate about customer service and motivated to change and grow. You ideally will have:
* A drive for sales generation, networking, building reputations and identifying new opportunities within social and corporate markets
* Knowledge of sales & events management in a hotel environment
* Experience in taking proactive action in developing sales campaigns that have an immediate impact on revenue
* Ability and confidence to influence senior management
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Understanding of yield management Assistant Meeting & Events Sales Office Manager
* Knowledge of OPERA PMS and S&C system desired
* Previous Senior Sales and Events experience
