We are a community mutual housing association which is owned by our tenants, rooted in our local communities, and working through collaboration and partnership.
We provide homes to 25,000 people in Rhondda Cynon Taff and Cardiff Bay. Our primary role is delivering homes which are safe, secure and affordable to people who are in in greatest need. However, we are more than a landlord. We are a tenant-owned, locally-anchored and collaborative organisation. Our role in community development, community regeneration and individual wellbeing is at the heart of what we do.
We employ over 400 staff who work across our repairs, safety compliance, neighbourhoods, customer service, development and corporate teams. Everyone at Trivallis works to put the needs of our tenants first, build good relationships and provide a great service.
About you…
The successful candidate will:
* 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including passes in Maths and English.
* Is currently working or willing to commit to working towards CIPD Qualified to Level 3.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, MS forms and Word.
* Experience within a Training, L&D or OD Assistant or Administration role.
* Experience of administering learning management and E-Learning Systems would be an advantage.
* High levels of stakeholder engagement and developing strong relationships.
* Can demonstrate an understanding and or knowledge of People Development/OD/L&D activities i.e. Induction, Skills Training E-Learning, Mandatory Training, Engagement Surveys and Team Development.
* Understanding of the need to work in a confidential environment with high levels of personal integrity.
* A proven level of written and verbal communication.
* A proven level of analytical skills.
* Ability to work in a focused environment with conflicting demands.
* Can act on their own initiative whilst knowing when to ask questions when needed.
* Someone who is passionate and takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail – well organised and efficient.

What you’ll do…
* Provide high quality and effective support to the People Development Team and all colleagues, providing seamless assistance with everything people development throughout their time at Trivallis.
What you’ll be responsible for…
* Coordinate and support relevant aspects of learning and people development activity as advised by the People Development Partner, such as training requests, organising ongoing support, CPD requests, E-Learning administration, and support work around culture and leadership initiatives.
* Assist the People Development Partner in ensuring the effective organisation and delivery of various relevant learning and development projects.
* Process purchase orders, BACS/cheque requests, process invoices as required in line with service level agreements and keep accurate financial records, ensuring suppliers and business areas are kept up to date.
* Responsible for all people development lifecycle administration, including training bookings, room bookings, invites and attendance, updating training records to support the delivery of development events.
* Coordinate timely and accurate learning and development data analysis for the purpose of effective reporting to the people development team and when required to other business areas and whilst ensuring the attainment of departmental KPI’s.
* Responsible for the development and keeping up to date of the Learning Management System and any systems that hold additional training records.
* Provide when appropriate guidance and training to staff in accessing systems and people development related activities.
* Training all new starters on how to use and log onto the E-Learning platform and Learning Management System, being the first point of contact for staff on all mandatory training queries.
* Process all external mandatory training ensuring all colleagues are fully compliant.
