As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Vice President of Global Site Operations to spearhead our global site strategy. This pivotal role will involve overseeing lease optimization, procurement, and facilities management across all of Ideagen’s global offices. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, the VP of Global Site Operations will play a crucial role in shaping our operational landscape and ensuring our offices are equipped to meet the needs of our diverse teams.
Responsibilities
1. Global site strategy; defining and managing global site strategy, including setting location principles for different role types in conjunction with functional teams.
2. Capacity planning, site consolidation, and lease optimization; owning the short-term and long-term planning for all global office locations, including office expansions, new office openings, and office consolidation/closures.
3. Facilities management, procurement, and cost control; ensuring that all offices are well-maintained, identifying opportunities to optimize facilities-related procurement and controlling site-related costs.
4. Health & Safety, ISO compliance; ensuring that all offices meet local legal and compliance regulations, working closely with the Group Legal team on these requirements.
5. External stakeholder management; management of 3rd party contractors and liaising with government bodies to explore potential grants.
6. Leadership of facilities management teams; management and development of local facilities management teams/external vendor relationships across all office locations.
7. International travel; requirement for regular international travel as sites are globally spread.
Skills and Experience
* Proven ability to provide strategic oversight while being hands-on in leadership roles; a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution is essential.
* Extensive global facilities management expertise, with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance, safety standards, and compliance regulations.
* Demonstrated experience in office consolidations, closures, and the procurement of new office locations, showcasing a strong ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
* Proficient in procurement and cost optimization, with a track record of identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies through effective global vendor management and internal processes.
* Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing cross-functional teams dispersed across various geographic locations.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels, including Board-level stakeholders.
