Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join our team based at our Nestlé Waters site in Buxton. A day in the life of a Reliability Engineer As a Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and participating in the implementation and execution of the factory asset maintenance programme. This is aimed to eliminate unplanned stops and optimise maintenance cost and as a result increase asset intensity. Other responsibilities will include: - Actively participate in the maintenance routines to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in time with high quality - Support and participate in the implementation maintenance methodologies (PM pillar, foundations) - Master and coach breakdown analysis - Responsible for ensuring effective utilisation of AMM system - Support and participate in the competence building plan (CBP) for the maintenance team. - Assist with the technical training program for all factory maintenance staff. - Support production to eliminate quality defects, safety risks, and chronic technical issues The role will report to the Asset Maintenance Manager and will form part of the engineering team on site. Other experiences and attributes would include: - Qualified Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent. - Experience in engineering management (maintenance, industrial, services, E&A), in FMCG related manufacturing environment - Experience of working in multifunctional team (i.e. capital projects, DMAIC) preferred. - Ability to motivate, influence and coach through having strong interpersonal skills. - Naturally able to lead, challenge and build capability. - Ability to communicate across all levels and work on own initiative. - Knowledge of TPM methodology is desirable - Strong understanding of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodology such as DMAIC, RCA.
