About The Role
We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our small dynamic IT/IS team, ensuring the efficient operation of our computer systems, network infrastructure, application support, and technology-related processes. A key project our IT Manager will lead is the transition of IFS to a new platform. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, who will either be an experienced IT Manager or someone who has been developed and mentored in readiness for this role.
The role itself will focus on IT Infrastructure Management, Security and compliance, Master Data Management, and Project Management. The IS aspect is working with our team of business analysts, who support various functions, ensuring that we have the appropriate reports in place to enable effective decision-making.
A key IT project will be the move of our current ERP system to a new platform, and we would be looking for someone who can demonstrate good project management skills and techniques to support what is a critical business project.
Our ideal candidate will hold a degree in computer sciences or equivalent and have experience with application support, Windows AD, and Microsoft applications. With a small team, this will be a hands-on role, so you will need experience or a good understanding of computer networks, network administration, network installation, as well as data centre management and data governance. We use Qlik for our reporting, and we will need you to understand this or equivalent technologies, as well as demonstrating your understanding of the importance of master data, technical management, and information analysis, as well as showing how you can support the teams who work in this area.
