If so, we want to hear from you The Salvation Army is one of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations who provides specialist support to protect and care for all adult survivors of modern slavery in England and Wales through a government contract which was first awarded in 2011. A new and extended contract came into force in January 2021 through which survivors of modern slavery are now entitled to support at all stages of their recovery. We are looking for highly motivated, meticulous and flexible Recover Needs Assessors to play a crucial role in ensuring survivors of modern slavery receive the right support tailored to their unique needs. You will be a part of our compassionate and dedicated team, helping assess and process Recovery Needs Assessments (RNAs) with accuracy and care. If you are passionate about support vulnerable people and have a keen eye for detail, this role could be for you Key Responsibilities: Accurately assess and process Recovery Needs Assessments, ensuring compliance with official policy guidance. Conduct stage 1 Quality Assurance checks to ensure Service Users’ needs are clearly stated, evidenced, and appropriately supported. Identify and escalate cases that require further review. Input and manage data in the Case Management System, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Communicate effectively with support providers to process information requests and maintain a high-quality service. Monitor and manage the RNA mailbox, ensuring all correspondence is handled promptly and correctly. Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure the smooth operation of the recovery needs Assessment workstream. Upload data protection standards and ensure all records are maintained securely. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Experience in a similar role assessing referrals against specific criteria A good understanding of needs-based and risk assessments and experience working with vulnerable client groups in a trauma-informed way. Strong analytical skills to work with case-management systems and databases, and reporting tools. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing workloads efficiently. Confidence in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) to perform daily tasks. A willingness to learn and develop, undertaking any necessary training for the role. A commitment to working in line with The Salvation Army’s values and Christian ethos. Qualifications to Level 3 Proven work experience in a similar environment. What would be beneficial: Knowledge and/ or experience of modern slavery issues or working with vulnerable individuals.
