Production Scheduler Annual Salary: up to £35,000, depending on experience 4 day working week – Monday to Thursday (7am - 6pm), ensuring a 3-day weekend Location: Sittingbourne, Kent Job Type: Permanent Working closely with colleagues across Procurement, Planning and Production, this varied Production Scheduler role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a friendly and dedicated team, striving for excellence in our industry. Day-to-day of the role: Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and product specifications. Convert production forecasts into a fully resourced manufacturing schedule. Provide a 4-week rolling plan and schedule work orders accurately. Update and maintain the ERP system with all necessary work order details. Liaise with various departments including Finance and Production to optimize scheduling and financial outcomes. Coordinate with the Procurement Department to manage material lead times and address potential dispatch delays. Conduct regular meetings to track production schedules, ensuring customer service and product availability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Strong multitasking abilities and a solution-driven approach. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
