Main duties of the job
To provide and maintain a high standard of evidence-based, patient-centred care in the perioperative environment. To demonstrate good interpersonal skills and develop practical skills required within the specialty, reflecting the philosophy of delivering high-quality care daily, using the systems in place in the department for a multi-disciplinary approach. This builds on the philosophy of greater involvement of patients and their relatives/carers by using the Trust's patient and public involvement strategy.

Essential
1. Diploma or equivalent knowledge and working towards or willing to work towards degree level RGN/ODP
Desirable
1. Previous Theatre Experience
2. Knowledge of relevant surgical procedures, and experience of working within the specialty
3. Experience of caring for critically ill patients
