You will be required to be in the office as needed, although the role is largely home-based. The Business Intelligence Analyst for Adult Social Care has a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive reporting solution for Adult Social Care Services. This position is crucial for enabling effective performance management across the service area through the strategic use of data. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our central business intelligence team. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain performance management frameworks for adult social care services. Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track service effectiveness. Ensure high data quality through robust quality control processes and working closely with operational teams Coordinate and guide the work of team members as needed promoting a collaborative and productive work environment. Produce comprehensive performance reports and dashboards to inform decision-making. Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored business intelligence solutions. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data management and performance measurement. Provide training and support to staff on data-related tools and methodologies. Key requirements Highly competent analyst with proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis or performance management who can understand, interpret and present complex information quickly and accurately to inform strategic decision-making. Highly numerate, with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability. Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience in communicating complex matters in difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence. Self-motivated, and able to work with colleagues and partners at all levels to deliver the role requirements. Excellent organisational skills to meet deadlines in the face of competing priorities. An understanding of data security and confidentiality issues. Knowledge of adult social care services and experience of working in local government would be beneficial.
